The self titled EP from East Tennessee's power trio Swallow The Sky paints a broad stroke of sonic collision and compliment, while firmly establishing itself in a post - rock/metal genre.
An undertow of malign synthesizers, wall of sound guitars and bombastic drumming define this release with layers of outpouring emotion that permeate each track. What's more is that this release is 100% DIY and avoids a lot of the smoke and mirrors many of their counterparts utilize in post production. The goal for this EP was to sound as close to live as possible.
